I'm still in New York City, getting ready for my release day signing tomorrow. I've mentioned it before, but for people who can't make one of my signings, the NYC one is being broadcast live at this link. When you register for it, I think you then go back to that web address when the time comes. Make sure you calculate your time zone correctly! The part that will be broadcast is how I open all of my signings--with a reading and Q&A. They'll take questions from web viewers too, though be advised that only a few will get in. Who knows, though? Could be yours! Also, for those worried about spoilers, I always ask at events that no one ask anything that gives away an ending--so, if people are respectful of that, you should hopefully be able to watch safely. :)
And, of course, if you've missed the rest of my tour list, you can see if I'll be visiting your city by going to this page.
Okay, that's all I've got! Not much to do except wait for LS to come out. I actually had the weekend off in New York, which was super fun and why I haven't been around much (my phone can't update my blog so well). I visit lots of cool cities on book tours but almost never get to sight-see because I'm only in them for one day. Because I've been here for a few days and have had my husband with me, we've actually gotten to do some touristy stuff. We saw the Spider-Man Broadway play, as well as Pee-Wee Herman's Broadway show--which was exactly like watching the 80s TV show. It was awesome. Then, tonight, after I'd finished up some promo stuff for Penguin, we got to go be in the audience for a taping of The Daily Show and see Jon Stewart (from afar). Good times!
Touristy stuff is over now. Tomorrow begins Day 1 of ten straight days of book signings in different cities. It'll be hectic, but it's always lots of fun! I'll post recaps and pictures of all of them once things get going!
In closing, I really hope you guys like Last Sacrifice! Be careful--spoilers are everywhere. For Georgina and Eugenie fans, I'll have some cool stuff for you guys soon once the VA buzz has settled a little. Hang in there!
