News for me, news for you

Hot, hawt news around here. Yesterday I found out that Iron Crowned debuted on the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller lists at #27 and #107, respectively. The VA books have been on the lists before, but this is my first time for one of my adult novels. So, it's pretty exhilarating news for me! Thank you to everyone who has helped with this next step. I really, really appreciate you helping this series grow over the last couple years. I'm so lucky in my readers.

And speaking of honors...don't forget the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards! :) Remember, you have to vote for every category in order for the vote to count.

Here's the other cool news. Coming in November (just in time for my birthday!) is Vampire Academy: The Ultimate Guide. It's going to be exactly what it sounds like, a big resource compiling all the characters, stories, and world details from the VA series. It's going to be a really beautiful book. I'll provide some info to go into it, but the majority of the writing and organizing is being done by fabulous author Michelle Rowen. Some of you may know Michelle from her legendary spoiler-free live-tweeting of Blood Promise. Everyone should know her for her awesome books. I think Bitten & Smitten was one of the first vampire romances I ever read. Check out her site if you want to know more about her and what she does. I'm so excited that she's going to be working on this.

Anyway, we'll hear more about the ultimate guide as things get closer. I think it's going to be really neat, plus it'll put to rest some age-old debates about discrepancies in the series--such as what Jill's element is. (It's water by the way. Air is a typo. This is why we need a guide). And hey, now *I'll* have an easy way to look up things I forget.

Tomorrow--for real, the video and latest batch of international book covers.
